Founder

"Where governance meets culture - and inclusion becomes impact."

I am a governance led inclusion specialist, working with boards and leaders of change to embed equity, diversity and inclusion where it matters most, within decision making, leadership and organisational culture.Through Diversity ICI Consulting, I support organisations to move from intention to measurable impact, bringing together governance expertise with a deep understanding of people, culture and lived experience.

Who I work with and what I see work with organisations that are committed to inclusion but are facing the challenge of turning ambition into action. Often, the strategy is there and the intent is clear, but progress is inconsistent. Leadership teams are balancing competing priorities, middle managers are not always fully engaged, and there is a gap between policy and lived experience.

This is where I focus my work, helping organisations close that gap in a way that is practical, sustainable and grounded in how people actually experience the workplace. What makes the work different? Inclusion is not achieved through standalone initiatives or one off training. It is embedded through governance, strategy, culture and everyday decision making. People, not processes, are at the centre of this work. That means creating the conditions for honest conversations, addressing power and culture, and ensuring that lived experience shapes how organisations design and deliver change.

My approach is structured through the ICI framework, Implementation, Change and Impact. I support organisations to translate strategy into clear, actionable steps, embed inclusive behaviours and leadership accountability, and measure what is changing in both data and lived experience. This includes designing strategies, strengthening governance and accountability, and working directly with boards and senior leaders through training, facilitation and advisory support.

Empowering Diversity and Inclusion

Experience and expertise

I bring over 18 years of leadership and consultancy experience across the NHS, housing, local government, education and national programmes.

My work spans inclusive governance, culture transformation and strategic change, supporting organisations from early stage strategy through to implementation and long term embedding.

I work closely with boards, senior leaders and multi partner systems, helping them navigate complexity, challenge assumptions and build confidence in leading inclusion.

Alongside this, I am an experienced facilitator and coach, creating spaces where leaders can have open, honest conversations while maintaining trust and forward momentum.

How I work with people

A core strength of my work is the ability to bridge strategy and lived experience.

I work across organisational boundaries, bringing together different perspectives and ensuring that communities and stakeholders are meaningfully involved in shaping solutions.

Psychological safety, cultural competence and honest dialogue are central to how I work. This includes facilitating complex and sometimes challenging conversations in a way that builds understanding and drives progress.

Who I work with

Diversity ICI Consulting works primarily with public sector and purpose driven organisations, including NHS bodies, housing associations, local authorities, education providers and national organisations.

These organisations are often committed to improving outcomes for diverse communities but need support to translate ambition into action within complex environments.

What clients can expect

Clients can expect a balance of challenge and support. I bring clarity, structure and insight, while creating the conditions for open, honest dialogue.

The focus is always on depth, not surface level intervention, ensuring that inclusion is embedded into governance, leadership behaviours and organisational practice.

Impact and outcomes

Success is measured not by activity, but by impact.

This includes stronger leadership accountability, clearer alignment between strategy and delivery, and improved experiences for employees, service users and communities.

Equal importance is placed on lived experience, ensuring that change is not only reported, but genuinely felt across the organisation.
